Recipients of the award include Wilson Riles, Mrs. Bertha Holt, Mrs. George Bush, Mr and Mrs. J. Peter Simon, Mr and Mrs. Ralph Davidson, Senator Lloyd Bentsen, Representative Tom Bliley, Senator Gordon Humphrey, Representative Jun Oberstar, Ruby Lee and James Piester, Parade Magazine and The Gannett Company.
