adoption circle
Refers to the key parties involved in an adoption: the adopted individual, the birthparents and the adoptive parents, as well as birthgrandparents, adoptive grandparents, siblings and others. A similar concept is more frequently expressed as an ADOPTION TRIAD or ADOPTION TRIANGLE.
