adoption triangle
Similar concept to the ADOPTION CIRCLE; refers to the adopted person, birthparents and adoptive parents as three points on the triangle and the three parties most involved in an adoption. It is considered a negative phrase by many adoption professionals (See also ADOPTION TRIAD.)
